WORK IN PROGRESS
I've always wanted to do a painting of Puiji and Nunavik, because when I worked at the Shedd Aquarium I got to watch a newborn beluga calf, Nunavik, and his mom for hours on end, recording behavioral observations. I've been wanting to do this painting for over a year, and I just whipped up a sketch for it about mid-October, before I heard the sad news that Puiji had passed away. Now this has become more of a dedication painting.
