I was inspired by Sea Otter Awareness Week and figured I should expand my artistic abilities by drawing another species!

I referenced a picture I took at the Oregon Coast Aquarium.

Sea Otter Awareness Week was September 27-October 3 2010
Some fun facts about sea otters:
-Sea otters consume 25-30% of their body weight each day
-Sea otters have 1 million strands of hair per square inch of fur
-Sea otters constantly blow air into their fur to keep them waterproof and warm
-Sea otters are the largest members of the weasel family
